I’m not sure where February went, but I suddenly realized today that its nearly over! It seems like it has just started, and now we’re staring at the end of it. But that means that Spring is closer, and I’m okay with some warmer weather about now.
March also brings with it St. Patrick’s Day and Easter right there at the end of the month. I’m in the process of prepping for my craft show next week, and I’ve been making lists of the types of cards I want to bring. Obviously those two are near the top, along with Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. I’ve got lots of ideas, just not enough time!
In addition to my cardmaking, I’ve also been playing around with making some new backgrounds and a few digital stamps. I started making them because I wanted specific backgrounds I couldn’t find, and because I didn’t want to draw the same little character over and over again. But now I’m playing around with the idea of creating my own line of digital stamps. The backgrounds have started to go up in related groups on my Etsy site.
And on my Facebook group, Junk Journals, Altered Art, Papercrafting, and more, we are doing our first challenge, which is to create a St. Patrick’s Day card. I’ve offered a free printable background there to the challenger participants – if you want to join us, we’d love to have you!
Here’s a preview of the background to maybe entice you to join us:
